April was a real grind behind the scenes in order to get everything in place for the company’s latest full length release; something that hasn’t happened since Brain Ape’s second record Auslander back in 2017. A special thank you must go out to Nacho Vilanova for doing a lot of graphical work for us leading up to this release. He’s a trooper, and bloody good at what he does.

And with all the work, the record came out last Friday! Congratulations to Chanty Très-vain for the release of her much anticipated debut album, Autrefois! The launch was very successful, despite the current climate, and the orders have been coming in online for digital copies of the record. If you yourself fancy a copy, please don’t hesitate. We’ve all been very pleased to see the record exceed sales predictions upon its release, especially as ‘no-one buys music anymore’. Althugh there is a certain degree of truth to that, which is why you can also find her album on Spotify and various other streaming platforms, it’s nice to see our artists earning money directly off their craft. More of that to follow! Moving forward, we’ll be looking to promote her record as much as possible within our promotional campaign whilst still promoting our healthy back-catalogue.
